Nicolas is a member of the National Honor Society!!!
Debbie and “Big Nick” invited me to join them at Steinbrenner High’s National Honor Society Induction Ceremony on November 3. There were 300 young people there being recognized for their Leadership, Scholarship, Character, and Service. Nick and his fellow inductees held little candles that provided light in a darkened auditorium. Their light, I suppose, symbolized hope for our community and nation as these young people move forward in their journeys toward adulthood. Though the ceremony lasted less than an hour, the check in the National Honor Society box lasts a lifetime.
Nick, thanks for showing me what Academic Excellence looks like!
