“Invisible Men” Sample Agenda Items

The MIMS Institute LLC passed the one-year point as a limited liability company registered in the state of Florida on August 31.  Both, my spouse and I attended the meeting of the School Board of Hillsborough County that afternoon and evening.  The meeting lasted for more than five hours.  The time I spent there allowed me to get in three minutes of “air time” plugging “the Invisible Men”—black males in urban zip codes who demonstrate or are capable of demonstrating academic excellence.  My request of the board during the public comments is that it consider placing student achievement data related to black males on future meeting agendas.
